I was listening to my I Love Rock and Roll station on Pandora as I drove to work this morning and I heard Good Enough by Evanescence for the first time in a long time. It reminded me how much I enjoy Amy Lee’s voice and how she throws herself into their performances. While I like the operatic singers in Nightwish and Within Temptation and the pure voices in Delain and Sleepthief, Amy Lee’s voice has much more character and sounds better to me.
And then every once in a while she lets you know she can have one of those pure voices as well…
