moldy fertilizer

There’s mold growing on the fertilizer piles. I should have just sprinkled a little fertilizer on at a time. In addition, the soil is probably too wet. I really wasn’t prepared for how much water this potting soil would hold and how long it would hold it. It acts like a sponge and doesn’t let go and dry out. I’ll clean up the mold as well as I can tonight and hope for the best. I think it probably won’t be a serious problem, but I don’t have enough experience to know for sure. Argh.
